The Resort's Main Lodge is remarkably situated on the shores of beautiful Chilko Lake at the outflow of the Chilko River. At 50 miles long, Chilko Lake is BC’s longest inland lake. Well over 1 million sockeye salmon return to the Chilko system to spawn every year making the Chilko run of sockeye the third largest in the Province. Needless to say, with from this prolific run of Pacific Salmon, the rainbow trout and char population benefit immensely. This can only mean one thing; really big wild resident fish! |
